Rubrik Professional Services is seeking a Global Solutions Architect to serve as the senior technical authority for public cloud architecture. This is a global individual-contributor role at Technical Director level, focused on setting architectural direction for how Rubrik is designed, deployed, and operated in demanding cloud environments. You will be deployed on the highest-impact engagements: flagship accounts, first-of-a-kind architectures, and strategic customer deployments that set patterns for the broader practice. Between engagements, you will convert field learning into reference architectures, service offerings, and enablement that raise the capability of the entire architect and consultant community. Key responsibilities include owning the global cloud architecture standard for Professional Services; serving as the final technical escalation point for cloud architecture decisions on strategic engagements worldwide; defining the technical shape of cloud service offerings; and establishing the practice's position on emerging cloud capabilities. You will lead the most complex, highest-visibility customer engagements globally—multi-region, multi-cloud, and multi-regulator estates—and serve as a trusted advisor to customer CIOs, CTOs, Chief Architects, and CISOs. You will scale your impact through building intellectual property (reference architectures, deployment automation, design templates, decision trees), mentoring Solutions Architects and senior consultants across all regions, defining technical competency standards, and representing Rubrik Professional Services externally at conferences and customer advisory boards. You will also act as the field's most credible voice into Product Management and Engineering, shaping roadmap priorities and cloud-native feature direction based on evidence from large deployments. Required qualifications: 15+ years overall experience, including 8+ years as a hands-on cloud architect at enterprise scale. Demonstrated ownership of multi-region, multi-account or multi-subscription cloud estates in large enterprises or consulting organizations. Expert-level AWS and Azure expertise; GCP strongly preferred, with genuine depth across compute, storage, networking, identity, and encryption/key management. Deep understanding of enterprise data protection and cyber resilience, including RTO/RPO modeling, immutability, backup and recovery design, and isolated/air-gapped recovery. Working fluency in cloud security and compliance frameworks and their constraints in regulated industries. Strong automation background with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Bicep), scripting (Python, PowerShell), API-first integration, and CI/CD. Track record of influence without authority across global, matrixed organizations and multiple time zones. Executive-grade communication credible with both customer CIOs and principal engineers.
