Turnitin is seeking a Global Events Specialist to plan, execute, and evaluate virtual and in-person events that promote B2B SaaS education technology solutions. You will work with cross-functional teams including regional marketing, creative, sales, and solutions engineering to create impactful experiences connecting with educators, administrators, and institutional decision-makers. Key responsibilities include planning and executing webinars, conferences, workshops, and roundtables; collaborating on event goals, content, and messaging alignment; managing event budgets and vendor negotiations; supporting event marketing strategies through email campaigns and social media; identifying speaking opportunities aligned with event strategy; coordinating logistics including registration, speaker coordination, and AV setup; managing event content and collateral; evaluating success through attendance, lead generation, and post-event surveys; staying current with industry trends and best practices; and fostering relationships with partners and sponsors. You should have 3-5+ years of experience in virtual and in-person B2B event planning with a strong portfolio of successful events. Required skills include excellent project management and organizational abilities, strong communication and interpersonal skills, proficiency in event management software (CVENT, Goldcast, Zuddl, Zoom, Asana), analytical mindset with data analysis tools (Tableau, Salesforce), and creative problem-solving. Willingness to travel for in-person events is expected. Familiarity with the education technology sector and educator/institutional needs is preferred.
