Pebl is seeking a Global Benefits Strategist to lead the design, negotiation, and product integration of its global benefits portfolio. This role owns the strategic direction of supplemental benefits offerings across 185+ countries, with accountability for achieving a 67% company-wide attach rate and transitioning from zero-margin allowance models to high-margin, revenue-generating insurance plans.
Key responsibilities include sourcing and contracting with vendors to implement new plans while managing a global renewal calendar of 70+ plans annually. You will negotiate commercial terms with brokers, manage vendor relationships for quality and competitive pricing, and partner with product teams to integrate benefits into Pebl's global platforms—prioritizing features like Day-1 enrollment. The role requires driving cross-functional engagement to align benefits strategy with executive leadership initiatives, go-to-market goals, and R&D product roadmaps.
You will leverage data-driven decision-making to identify structural gaps, perform root cause analysis, and pivot strategy based on attach rate trends and performance metrics. The position demands strong project management capabilities to handle high-volume renewals, maintain stakeholder relationships with HR business partners and HRIS teams, and operate both strategically and tactically in a fast-paced environment.
Required qualifications include 6+ years of benefits delivery experience, a bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience, and demonstrated expertise in global benefits strategy and design. You should have a track record of vendor and broker management, financial and P&L acumen, and the ability to collaborate across departments. Strong communication, critical thinking, and attention to detail are essential, along with technology literacy including Microsoft Office Suite and benefits-specific software.
