The Portfolio Marketing team drives integrated marketing initiatives aligned with AppDirect's business units, developing and optimizing a marketing engine to accelerate subsidiary growth while respecting individual brand values and the company's overarching vision: simplifying the purchase, sale, and management of technology.
As a Marketing Specialist for FirstBase, you will serve as the primary marketing resource for the business unit, translating strategy into integrated marketing plans and driving their execution to deliver measurable business results. This is an individual contributor role (not management) with a hybrid schedule: one day per week in-office, four days remote.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and execute integrated annual and quarterly marketing plans
- Drive campaign strategy across digital initiatives, events, content, and training
- Collaborate with Product Marketing on product launches and go-to-market initiatives
- Define KPIs for campaigns and measure results against growth and revenue objectives
- Translate business priorities into marketing programs with clear ROI expectations
- Manage and prioritize multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Oversee external vendors or partner agencies as needed
- Identify cross-sell and co-marketing opportunities across the portfolio
- Present marketing results and analysis to operational stakeholders
- Continuously improve programs based on performance data and customer feedback
Required qualifications:
- 5–7 years of B2B marketing experience, ideally in SaaS, technology, telecommunications, or services
- Experience managing marketing strategy for a product line, business unit, or revenue segment
- Strong understanding of direct and/or indirect go-to-market models
- Proven ability to drive measurable pipeline impact
- Excellent stakeholder management and prioritization skills
- Ability to balance autonomy with cross-functional collaboration
- Comfort presenting performance analysis and recommendations
