Base Power is rebuilding America's electricity infrastructure by deploying distributed battery networks to transform the centralized grid into a resilient, abundant system. The Growth Generalist role is a hands-on position for someone who thinks in channels, experiments, and measurable outcomes—not a traditional marketing function.
You will own customer acquisition targets with clear accountability across channels you choose to focus on. You'll design and run structured growth experiments across the entire funnel to unlock step-change improvements in conversion, retention, and unit economics. Your work translates performance data into strategic decisions: what to double down on, what to fix, and what to shut down. You'll operate a high-velocity creative engine, working closely with design to develop, test, and scale winning creative assets.
The role requires hands-on growth experience with direct ownership of channels in consumer or consumer-adjacent businesses. You thrive in early-stage, unstructured environments and are comfortable with ambiguity. You're equally at home in a dashboard, reviewing creative briefs, and collaborating in cross-functional standups. You have a bias toward action over analysis, move fast, and define your own scope rather than waiting for direction.
Base's Growth team operates lean and high-ownership across marketing, sales, support, product, and design. Everything is measured against one bar: becoming the fastest-growing, most beloved energy company in the world. The company emphasizes first-principles thinking, operating at pace, direct feedback, ownership, strong opinions loosely held, and commitment to the mission of rebuilding the grid. Work is in-person and intense; this is an all-in role for someone who cares deeply about impact.
