iCapital is seeking an Assistant Vice President or Vice President to join its Fund Finance team, focusing on private capital feeder fund accounting and administration. This is a hands-on role that bridges third-party administrators, fund sponsors, clients, and internal teams to ensure accurate and timely accounting, investor reporting, and operational deliverables. Key responsibilities include partnering with third-party administrators to ensure timely monthly valuations and accurate general ledger entries in accordance with fair value accounting principles. You will review fund expenses and accruals against approved budgets, identify variances, and propose adjustments. The role requires reviewing investor allocations to ensure profits, losses, and fees are calculated per partnership operating agreements, and reviewing/approving cash movements while reconciling data between iCapital systems and external service providers. You will review and approve capital activity notifications and statements, coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to investigate and resolve accounting or reporting discrepancies, and monitor compliance with governing fund documents. As a primary Fund Finance contact for fund sponsors, you will respond to inquiries and communicate key deliverables, timelines, and dependencies. The role includes managing team deliverables, promoting accountability, operational excellence, and driving continuous process improvement. Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, and at least five years of experience in fund accounting, fund operations, asset management, or related financial-services roles. Big Four accounting or audit experience is a plus. Experience with alternative investment fund administration and operations is strongly preferred. You should have a solid understanding of capital activity, investor allocations, fee structures, and partnership accounting, with strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a broader strategic perspective. The ideal candidate is highly organized, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrates ability to monitor team performance and foster accountability. Passion for using technology and automation to improve operational efficiency is valued. The role is hybrid, with 4 days in office and 1 day remote (Friday).
