Conversion is an agentic marketing automation platform serving modern enterprises like Plaid, ClickHouse, Webflow, and Productboard. The platform enables growth teams to run their entire go-to-market motion in one place—from acquisition through retention—using AI agents to perform work that legacy tools like Marketo, HubSpot, and Pardot cannot. The company has raised $28M+ from Abstract Ventures, True Ventures, and HOF Capital, with a team based in San Francisco including engineers, designers, and operators from Airbnb, Palantir, Pinterest, IMC, Shopify, LinkedIn, and Microsoft.
As a Founding Product Manager, you will define the future of marketing enabled by AI. You'll work with world-class enterprise customers who have entrusted Conversion to solve their most pressing growth challenges. The role encompasses four core responsibilities:
1. Owning product areas end-to-end: From initial discovery and ideation through implementation and delivery, you'll own core product surfaces and drive them to completion.
2. Customer obsession: You'll collaborate directly with customers and design partners to shape product development. The team is relentlessly focused on delighting customers and delivering value through deep understanding of their needs.
3. Setting the vision: You'll work hand-in-hand with the in-house AI research team to productize moonshot projects and define what's newly possible in marketing through AI advancements.
4. Shipping: You'll deeply collaborate with engineering to bring products to life, and you're encouraged to leverage AI to ship features yourself.
This is a full-time, in-person role requiring 5 days per week in the San Francisco office.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 2–5 years of experience shipping products
- Strong grasp of engineering principles through a technical background
- Comfort using AI to bring ideas to life
- Enjoyment of building with a scrappy, nimble team
PREFERRED:
- Previous startup founding member experience with real customer shipping
- Ex-engineer background with a passion for solving "what to build" over "how to build it"
