Town is an applied AI company building a persistent AI assistant that observes, learns, and acts on behalf of users across email, calendar, docs, Slack, and CRM. Founded by Jean-Denis Greze (former CTO of Plaid) and Tony Vincent (former Director of Applied AI Product at Google), the company recently raised a $55M Series A led by Andreessen Horowitz.
As Founding GTM Recruiter, you'll build the commercial hiring function from the ground up. Town is product-led-growth with strong inbound demand and early enterprise usage; now they're scaling the go-to-market organization and need a recruiter to hire the sales, marketing, operations, and customer success teams.
You'll own full-cycle GTM recruiting across revenue, sales, product marketing, growth, business operations, customer success, and partnerships. This includes sourcing, outreach, candidate experience, and closing. You'll partner closely with the founders and Head of Business to run the company's most critical commercial searches while building the recruiting infrastructure and systems that allow a small team to hire like a much larger one.
Key responsibilities: run full-cycle recruiting with high-touch, swift, and thoughtful candidate experience; help build recruiting systems and processes; leverage Town's product to make sourcing and coordination more efficient; maintain credible conversations with top commercial talent about what great AEs, marketers, and operators actually do.
You bring 4+ years of full-cycle GTM recruiting experience, ideally at a high-growth startup, with a track record hiring sales, marketing, and operations talent. You enjoy the full recruiting lifecycle, from building top-of-funnel relationships to closing tough candidates. You operate with high agency, decide at 70% and correct as you go, and write exceptionally well. You're AI-curious and have experimented with AI tools to improve recruiting effectiveness. You thrive working in-person and get energy from collaborating with people face-to-face.
Role is based in San Francisco's Financial District (222 Kearny St, near Montgomery BART) with five days per week in-office requirement.
