Phonely is building conversational voice AI agents for high-volume phone workflows. Customers use the platform to qualify leads, book appointments, route calls, and resolve real customer conversations in production. The company recently raised Series A funding and is one of the fastest-growing companies in San Francisco. You will own Phonely's public voice and brand presence. This is a founding role—there is no existing playbook, so you will create it from scratch. Your core responsibilities include: • Establish and own Phonely's public voice: define what the company sounds like, what it talks about, and what people remember it for. • Publish at scale: start at 5–10 pieces per week and ramp up. The goal is to match and exceed the best company in the category, which publishes 10 times weekly. • Build repeatable systems: use AI tools and workflows to multiply output. The philosophy is "forty good pieces a month beats eight perfect ones." • Mine customer and product stories: identify moments that show real change on actual phone lines, then publish them quickly. • Own the full production chain: concept, shoot, direct, edit, publish, and engage with audience responses. • Put the right people on camera: yourself, engineers, sales reps, founders, or customers—whoever tells the story best. • Identify and own distribution channels: start with LinkedIn, YouTube, and Meta, then expand to wherever your buyers (car dealerships, home services, insurance agencies, lenders) actually spend time. • Create paid creative assets: cut the best moments from shoots into assets the growth team can amplify with paid spend. • Learn from the people closest to the work: engineers building models, reps selling, customers running their businesses on the platform. • Represent Phonely externally: launches, customer sites, industry events, podcasts, and anywhere the story should be told. Success in the first 6–12 months means establishing a daily publishing rhythm with a production system that makes the next piece easier than the last; growing Phonely's channels from a standing start; measuring impact through impressions, engagement, and conversion into qualified sales conversations; and developing a recognizable Phonely voice on camera that the team can learn from and repeat. The role is on-site in San Francisco, five days a week, working directly with the founders. Phonely covers meals and offers quarterly offsites to interesting locations. You will have real ownership over the brand and meaningful equity in a fast-growing company. REQUIREMENTS: • A substantial body of self-directed work: 100+ pieces on your own account, no client brief, no assignment. • AI-native production habits: you already use tools to multiply output and have informed opinions about which ones work. • Comfort on camera without a script: ability to shoot one-take, phone-camera content without autocue. • Sharp self-critique: you can explain why one piece landed and another did not. • Range across production: hands-on experience shooting, producing, editing, and publishing with tools you taught yourself. BONUS: • Background as an athlete or with a compelling personal story worth telling. • Experience creating paid creative for a startup. • Prior work at an early-stage company. Note: Where you went to school and whether you have held this title before are not the point. The company will evaluate your portfolio.
