Quanta is building a new system of record for finance—a financial data layer that preserves every event, calculation, policy, source, and decision behind the numbers, rather than reducing them to contextless entries. The company has already replaced much of what QuickBooks and NetSuite do and is moving customers off legacy accounting systems. As a Founding Account Executive, you'll own the full sales cycle from discovery through close while helping define how Quanta sells. This is a high-autonomy role for someone who wants to be an exceptional individual contributor today while building the sales organization that comes after them. Key responsibilities include: owning the complete sales cycle for new business; running discovery and translating Quanta's value into clear stories for sophisticated finance buyers; navigating complex deals with multiple stakeholders and creating momentum; experimenting with messaging, qualification, and deal execution to understand what works; developing and leading the SDR motion by partnering closely with SDRs on targeting and coaching; and turning learnings into repeatable processes and standards for future account executives. You should have a proven track record closing B2B sales cycles, experience in early-stage or scaling environments where you've helped move from initial customers toward repeatable sales motion, and the ability to create your own pipeline without a perfect playbook. Strong commercial judgment, analytical thinking, coachability, and high standards are essential. You're resourceful, form hypotheses and test them, and naturally turn learnings into better processes. This role is ideal if you've been an early sales hire, are equally comfortable closing deals and improving how the team sells, create momentum without waiting for perfect enablement, and want meaningful ownership in defining Quanta's sales approach. It's probably not for you if you prefer inheriting a mature playbook, expect SDRs to solely own pipeline creation, or optimize for closing any deal rather than understanding real customer problems.
