This Forward Deployed Product Manager role is not a traditional PM position. You will take end-to-end ownership of building and delivering conversational AI agents that solve real healthcare challenges. You'll work hands-on throughout the entire process—from initial customer conversations and technical scoping through pilot launch, conversion to revenue, and ongoing performance optimization.
Key responsibilities include:
- Own conversational AI agent development from concept to commercial success, including customer scoping, statement of work definition, pilot launch, and revenue conversion
- Partner directly with customers to understand needs, establish measurable outcomes, and translate requirements into technical specifications
- Collaborate with forward deployed engineers, applied AI engineers, conversation designers, and clinical experts to build high-quality AI agents using Infinitus Studio
- Build and refine conversation flows, orchestration logic, escalation pathways, evaluations, and test scenarios
- Identify product limitations, troubleshoot issues, and work with engineering to implement solutions or practical workarounds
- Design and execute evaluations against performance, reliability, and safety standards; partner with clinical evaluators on safety requirements
- Use performance data and customer feedback to drive pilot-to-commercial conversion and improve agent effectiveness
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers on product progress, technical challenges, and roadmap discussions
- Take ownership of production issues and operational dependencies to ensure successful delivery
- Share customer deployment insights with core product and engineering teams to influence platform improvements
This role requires strong technical fluency, hands-on problem-solving, and the ability to operate independently in fast-moving, ambiguous environments. You'll be accountable for outcomes and comfortable making tough decisions around scope, quality, and timelines.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of experience in Product Management, entrepreneurship, or similar role involving end-to-end product ownership
- Strong technical fluency, including experience with AI-powered products, prompt writing and evaluation, and understanding technical architectures
- Proficiency with SQL and data analysis; ability to translate performance metrics into actionable product decisions
- Demonstrated experience owning customer-facing deliverables and driving measurable business or commercial outcomes
- Excellent communication skills; ability to explain complex technical concepts to engineering, clinical, business, and customer stakeholders
- Strong product judgment and ability to make thoughtful decisions around scope, quality, timelines, and competing priorities
- Comfortable operating independently in ambiguous, fast-moving environments and taking accountability for outcomes
- Willingness to roll up sleeves, work directly with technical teams, and contribute hands-on to building and improving products
- Confidence navigating difficult customer conversations, communicating tradeoffs, and taking ownership when things don't go as planned
NICE-TO-HAVE:
- Engineering degree or previous software engineering experience
- Experience developing, deploying, or managing conversational AI agents, LLM-powered applications, or workflow automation products
- Previous experience in healthcare, health technology, or another regulated or high-stakes industry
- Familiarity with clinical workflows, patient communications, or healthcare operations
- Experience taking technical products from pilot or proof of concept to commercial deployment
- Experience working with cross-functional teams including engineering, product, clinical, and customer-facing stakeholders
