Meter builds enterprise networking as a service, designing, installing, and managing critical networking infrastructure for modern companies. This role owns the Fleet Ops function—the system that ensures Meter's global installation partner ecosystem consistently delivers high-quality network deployments at scale. You will build deep relationships with installation and Fleet partners while designing and implementing the systems, programs, and accountability structures that enable them to succeed. Your core mission is to make partners successful by driving performance, improving operational systems, and building programs that help technicians do their best work. In your first six months, success means: - Technicians perform as extensions of Meter, hitting ≥95% on-time arrival, 100% documentation completeness, and <5% rework rates through your cadence and accountability structure. - Fleet capacity scales ahead of demand; you maintain a live view of each partner's capacity against forecasted volume and proactively negotiate expansion (additional technicians, updated rate structures, renewed agreements) before bottlenecks emerge. - Technicians are motivated to work on Meter projects; you launch recognition and incentive programs that make partners feel the product is built for them and technicians feel like colleagues. - Partner feedback continuously improves systems; you launch partner scorecards, structured check-ins, and engagement cadences so partners always know their performance and field insights drive improvements. Your day-to-day includes running partner performance reviews and improvement plans, reviewing deployment volume against capacity and proactively negotiating expansion, leading commercial conversations on rates and contracts, meeting with technicians and partner leadership to unblock deployments, designing incentive programs, leading commercial onboarding for new partners, translating partner feedback into internal improvements, advising Dispatch on capacity, running recurring partner check-ins, and building systems like dashboards, feedback loops, onboarding programs, and scorecards. In year two, you could build the global performance system powering Meter's deployment network, expand the partner ecosystem into new markets, manage Meter's most strategic partners, or influence the next generation of installer tooling and operational systems. Travel: 30-40% expected. You'll be in the field running in-person meetings, supporting onboarding, and seeing technicians at work firsthand. QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS: The posting does not explicitly state required years of experience, education, or certifications. However, it describes the ideal candidate as someone who thrives on building strong relationships while holding a high bar for operational performance, enjoys working on physical-world programs supporting field operators, is energized by building systems that help people do their best work, is comfortable holding partners accountable while advocating for them internally, communicates clearly, builds trust with partners and internal teams, stays calm under pressure, and is motivated by enabling thousands of technicians and partners to deliver world-class infrastructure.
