Salary: EUR 5,500 - 6,500 / monthly

As Financial Controller, you will play a broad and varied role in supporting this expansion and professionalization. You will be responsible for ensuring smooth financial administration and clear analysis, implementing process improvements in automation and digitalization to enable faster and more reliable reporting. You will prepare budgets and forecasts, provide reliable management information to support strategic decision-making, and maintain extensive international contacts while serving as a sparring partner to the management team and executive leadership.
Key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring smooth financial administration and periodic closings and reporting
- Preparing and analyzing management and ad-hoc reports
- Preparing budgets and forecasts
- Shared responsibility for tax filings
- Preparing liquidity budgets
- Driving and initiating digitalization and BI projects
- Serving as primary contact for external auditors
- Acting as financial sparring partner to management and leadership
The role is based in Apeldoorn, relocating to Rijssen later in the year. You will have flexibility in work days and the opportunity to work hybrid.
REQUIREMENTS:
- HBO (higher professional education) level or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of relevant financial/accounting experience
- Experience with accounting software; knowledge of Exact (Globe/Online) preferred
- Extensive Excel experience and BI-tools proficiency; Power BI experience preferred
- Strong analytical skills with ability to understand financial impact of business decisions
- Excellent communication skills with fluent English and Dutch
- Driven, pragmatic, enthusiastic, and proactive mindset
