Re:Build Manufacturing is revitalizing America's manufacturing base by operating an advanced, end-to-end manufacturing platform that partners with industrial companies and innovators to take products from concept to full-scale production in critical verticals including aerospace and defense, electrification, medical, energy, and robotics.
You will lead the Finance Operations function at one of Re:Build's manufacturing facilities, reporting to the General Manager. This is a hands-on manager role where you'll directly supervise a Staff Accountant and own the financial operations infrastructure that supports the facility's growth.
Key responsibilities include: leading the monthly financial close and delivering accurate, timely reporting; partnering with operations leadership to translate financial performance into actionable business insights; developing annual budgets and quarterly forecasts aligned with strategic goals; building and tracking operational KPIs that drive continuous improvement; mentoring and developing your direct report; transforming financial data into clear narratives for diverse audiences; collaborating with operations, engineering, supply chain, and quality teams on new product launches and business development; improving accounting processes and internal controls; serving as the financial liaison between the facility and Re:Build corporate finance; supporting business development with cost modeling and pricing analysis; and championing a culture of transparency and financial literacy.
You'll need a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration with 3-5 years of progressive experience in financial operations or management accounting, including exposure to manufacturing cost accounting, operational metrics, and cross-functional collaboration. You should be equally comfortable building forecasts, closing the books, and walking the production floor to understand how the business operates.
This role is office-based and requires a "go to the gemba" mindset—you'll regularly walk the production floor, observe manufacturing processes, and build relationships with operators, engineers, and supervisors. The best financial insights come from understanding how products are actually made, not just reviewing spreadsheets. All Re:Build employees share ownership in the company and participate in financial rewards of collective success.
