Higgsfield AI, a rapidly scaling generative AI company, is seeking a Revenue Accounting Lead to own revenue recognition and the order-to-cash lifecycle end-to-end. This is a hands-on, builder role supporting a high-volume, consumption-based business with a credit-driven revenue model across self-serve, enterprise, platform, and partnership channels. Key responsibilities include owning the monthly revenue close across consumption and credit-based revenue models, maintaining and evolving revenue recognition policies under ASC 606, and reviewing non-standard commercial arrangements to determine appropriate accounting treatment. You will lead order-to-cash operations end-to-end, including order capture, billing, invoicing, cash application, collections, disputes, and revenue reporting. This includes managing billing across self-serve and enterprise models, owning accounts receivable operations, and designing scalable workflows with proper controls and segregation of duties. You will own the revenue automation and reconciliation environment, including HubiFi and the audit trail from financial reporting to underlying transactions. You'll partner closely with Engineering and Data teams to ensure completeness and reliability of usage and credit-consumption data, and drive automation to reduce reliance on manual spreadsheets. Additionally, you will own revenue and AR balance sheet reconciliations, bookings-to-cash analysis, and proof-of-cash processes, while building revenue reporting and analytics for Finance leadership. As the primary Finance point of contact for external auditors, you will prepare audit support materials, walkthroughs, and process narratives. You'll help strengthen revenue processes and controls as the company scales and prepares for increasing audit and reporting requirements. Required qualifications include 6+ years of accounting experience with meaningful depth in revenue accounting, strong practical knowledge of ASC 606 including complex judgment areas, hands-on experience owning revenue accounting in high-volume environments with usage-based or consumption-based revenue models, and demonstrated experience with order-to-cash processes. You should have direct experience with payment platforms (Stripe preferred) and revenue automation systems such as HubiFi, Zuora, or NetSuite ARM. Strong analytical skills, advanced Excel proficiency, and SQL experience are valued. The ideal candidate can operate effectively in high-growth environments where processes are still being built and communicate effectively across Finance, Engineering, Data, and other teams.
