Coram AI is seeking a Finance Manager to own the FP&A function for the company. This is a hands-on, individual contributor role focused on financial planning and analysis—separate from accounting and close responsibilities, which are being filled by a Controller hire.
You will own the company's financial model, forecast, and reporting infrastructure. Your core responsibilities include building and maintaining the financial forecast, analyzing actuals versus plan with early warning flags for drift, explaining the drivers behind revenue and spend movements, and providing the analysis that informs leadership decisions on headcount, spend, pricing, and planning cycles.
You'll develop deep cross-functional understanding of sales, marketing, R&D, and finance operations, translating business activity into financial narratives. You'll be the owner of a critical asset—the model and forecast—and will defend it with clarity and precision.
Coram AI is an AI-native video security platform using computer vision and multimodal LLMs to deliver real-time alerts, intelligent access control, and multi-site visibility. Founded by ex-Lyft engineers (Ashesh Jain, PhD Cornell; Peter Ondruska, PhD Oxford), the company has raised $65M+ from top-tier investors including Battery Ventures, Mosaic, and 8VC, and was named to CB Insights AI 100.
Required: 5–10 years of relevant finance experience, with hands-on ownership of a model, forecast, or P&L line. SaaS operating experience is essential—you must understand how SaaS unit economics, CAC, LTV, and churn dynamics work. You should have seen company scale and be able to articulate the stage at entry and exit. Strong business acumen, meticulous attention to detail, and fluency in your own work (ability to walk through complex models and discuss forecast accuracy) are non-negotiable.
Bonus: exposure to fundraising or go-to-market strategy.
