The Finance Manager, APAC role is based in Hong Kong and reports into the global finance organization. This is a full-time, on-site position with significant regional scope across Asia Pacific. Key responsibilities include: Payroll Operations: Process and analyze payroll and compensation across APAC in a timely and accurate manner, working with internal teams and outsourced payroll vendors. Support the global equities team with local filing and reporting needs. Manage employee payroll inquiries, establish payroll procedures and policies in collaboration with HR and Finance teams across APAC and US headquarters, and drive continuous improvements to payroll processes and employee experience. Corporate Payments: Process payment requests with supporting documentation and obtain proper approvals. Handle invoice settlements and expense reimbursements. Assist purchasing requestors and procurement teams across APAC as needed. Month-End Closing & Financial Analysis: Perform month-end closing duties including financial analysis, general ledger review, P&L and balance sheet analysis under USGAAP and local GAAP standards. Experience with consolidation is valued. Support internal and external audit requirements. Financial Projects & Process Improvements: Participate in finance transformation initiatives and AI technology applications. Define and deliver process improvements focusing on process design/redesign, controls, and risk assessment. Complete ad hoc tasks as assigned. Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or equivalent. 5-8 years of experience in payroll operations, finance, or accounting, with prior supervisory or senior experience in a multinational environment. Prior payroll-related experience required. High proficiency in English (written and spoken); Cantonese and Mandarin preferred. Advanced Excel and accounting software skills. Desirable qualifications: Business Central ERP experience, Asia Pacific or multi-region management experience, payroll and/or accounting background. Candidates with less experience may be considered for an Assistant Manager role.
