Addi is a leading fintech platform in Colombia, serving over 2 million customers and 20,000+ merchants as the country's fastest-growing marketplace and leading Buy Now, Pay Later provider. The company recently achieved profitability and secured regulatory approval to operate as a bank, backed by world-class investors including Andreessen Horowitz, Goldman Sachs, and Union Square Ventures.
As a Field Sales Representative, you will drive aggressive expansion of Addi's partner network within the SMB segment through 100% cold field prospecting and immediate in-field activation. Your mission is to become the most impactful growth engine in new territories by acquiring and activating new merchant partners.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conduct daily targeted cold field sweeps to identify, contact, and close SMB merchants, ensuring immediate activation (first transaction) after signing
- Perform territory mapping and commercial area analysis to identify high-GMV opportunity clusters and optimize prospecting routes
- Manage the full sales cycle from cold prospecting through closing, using a consultative approach adapted to each merchant and their end customers
- Maintain 100% accuracy in CRM (Salesforce) logging of all sales activities and pipeline data in real-time
- Build trust-based relationships with business owners and conduct rigorous post-closing follow-up to guarantee first origination within 48 hours
You will need minimum 4+ years of uninterrupted experience in 100% cold field sales hunter roles (street sales/outbound acquisition) in high-volume or fast-paced industries such as fintech, telecom, or B2B services. You must demonstrate a proven track record of consistently over-executing sales quotas (110%+) in purely outbound environments, with extreme resilience and discipline. Strong proficiency in CRM systems (Salesforce), advanced territory management, and the ability to interpret key sales metrics are essential. You should be a self-starter with an owner's mindset, capable of identifying low-performing zones and autonomously driving solutions. The role requires deep understanding of merchant pain points, rapid closing expertise, and exceptional ability to build trust and rapport in cold settings.
