As a Field Sales Executive, you will be part of the Client Acquisition Team, responsible for generating and converting sales opportunities into closed deals for payment card terminals and merchant acquiring services. This is a field-based role requiring Monday-to-Friday in-person visits to prospective customers in your defined geographical region (Newcastle area focus).
Key responsibilities include: arranging business meetings with prospects through self-generated activities and provided leads; evaluating prospect data and validating current needs through face-to-face visits; building rapport and acting as a trusted partner; obtaining referrals from existing clients; identifying new opportunities through networking and digital prospection; delivering compelling product presentations based on deep market and product knowledge; closing sales; maintaining accurate CRM records; completing relevant training; and fostering team collaboration.
You should have proven B2B sales expertise selling solutions to SME retail and hospitality businesses at mid-to-senior level, with a consistent track record of achieving sales quotas. Required skills include strong understanding of web-based IT applications, excellent presentation and negotiation abilities, CRM system proficiency, outstanding closing ability, strong organizational skills, resilience in handling objections, results-driven mindset, and self-motivation. A valid driving license and willingness to use your own vehicle for business (with expenses covered) is essential. Advantageous experience includes banking sector background, card terminal knowledge, and technology solution selling.
