HeartFlow is seeking a Field Reimbursement Manager for the Mid-Atlantic region (Washington DC, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Baltimore). This is a field-embedded commercial role supporting the adoption of HeartFlow's AI-driven cardiac diagnostic solution, FFR_CT Analysis.
You will operate as a strategic commercial partner to the field sales team, not as a compliance function. Your core responsibilities include:
**Strategic Field Partnership:** Embed with the commercial team to enable sales success. Attend customer calls to address complex coding, billing, and access concerns. Proactively identify facilities needing reimbursement support and develop strategies to overcome barriers. Educate the field organization on coding updates, billing trends, and payer developments.
**Customer Access & Billing Optimization:** Serve as the primary reimbursement resource for providers and hospital billing/administrative leadership. Conduct onsite visits and remote consultations on appropriate billing scenarios, documentation requirements, and payment components. Support customers across the full reimbursement cycle: pre-service authorization, post-service collection, and appeals. Optimize prior authorization workflows and claims appeals processes. Partner with health system revenue cycle teams to review and optimize chargemaster setup for accurate charge capture. Conduct claim reviews to identify patterns and resolve issues.
**Market Intelligence & Education:** Identify gaps in customer-facing and internal educational resources. Monitor payer policy changes and communicate updates to internal and field teams.
You thrive in ambiguity, handle multiple shifting priorities, and present confidently to hospital CFOs and clinical leadership. You have deep reimbursement expertise and have successfully partnered with quota-carrying field sales teams. You translate complex payer policies into plain language on live calls and see yourself as a commercial enabler, not a watchdog. Must live in the territory.
