EVERSANA is seeking a Field Reimbursement Manager for the Chicago territory to provide in-person and virtual education to healthcare providers on patient access and reimbursement issues related to Shionogi products. This is a field-based role requiring 60-70% travel to physician practices, hospitals, and other care sites.
Key responsibilities include managing daily field activities to support patient access at key neurology centers, executing collaborative territory plans with internal and external stakeholders (HUB services, sales, market access teams), and serving as a subject matter expert on approved patient access services. You will interact frequently with healthcare provider staff, educate offices on payer policies including prior authorization requirements, and review patient-specific information to resolve coverage challenges. The role also involves providing feedback to internal teams on local payer trends and access barriers.
Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree, minimum 5 years pharmaceutical industry experience with payer policy and reimbursement expertise, minimum 3 years in benefit verification and prior-authorization requirements (or equivalent patient access, billing, and coding experience), knowledge of CMS policies and Medicare Part D, strong organizational and interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication abilities, MS Office proficiency, and a valid driver's license. Rare disease experience is preferred.
