Fieldguide is seeking a strategic Field Marketing Manager to lead the planning and execution of its conference and trade show portfolio. You will own the end-to-end event lifecycle—from sponsorship evaluation and pre-event strategy through onsite execution, lead follow-up, and performance reporting. In this role, you will define strategy, planning, and execution of conferences, trade shows, sponsorships, and field experiences. You'll manage all event logistics including sponsorship deliverables, booth production, vendors, shipping, registration, staffing, travel, and onsite operations. You'll develop event objectives, audience strategies, activation plans, timelines, budgets, and success metrics in partnership with Sales, Business Development, Customer Success, Partnerships, Product Marketing, and Executive Leadership. Key responsibilities include creating integrated pre-event, onsite, and post-event engagement plans; leading booth strategy and experience design; identifying ancillary experiences such as executive dinners and customer gatherings; managing speaker submissions and thought-leadership opportunities; serving as primary point of contact for conference organizers and vendors; preparing internal briefs and run-of-show documents; ensuring accurate lead capture and follow-up; measuring event performance against KPIs; and conducting post-event debriefs to optimize future programs. You'll travel approximately 30–40% to provide hands-on leadership and onsite execution. The ideal candidate has 3+ years managing conferences, trade shows, sponsorships, or B2B field marketing programs; proven success with complex, high-visibility events; strong project management and communication skills; experience managing budgets, contracts, and vendors; and comfort in fast-paced environments with changing priorities. Experience in B2B SaaS, enterprise technology, accounting, audit, or professional services is a bonus, as is familiarity with attribution, pipeline reporting, and event ROI analysis.
