Linear is hiring its first Field Marketing Manager to build and execute the company's field marketing motion from strategy to execution. You'll own the executive dinner calendar across North American cities, curate which third-party events and partner programs deserve Linear's time and resources, and drive the invitations and follow-up sequences that help the sales team convert networking into pipeline. This is a hands-on role requiring frequent travel to events and dinners. You'll manage the full lifecycle of each program: selecting venues and cities, building guest lists in collaboration with the Customer team, negotiating with vendors and venues, managing budgets and logistics, briefing executives and hosts on attendees and objectives, running events on-site, and handing off follow-ups to Sales. You'll also evaluate conference sponsorship opportunities by audience quality and account coverage, plan Linear's presence (booth, side dinners, customer meetings, speaking slots), and co-host dinners and workshops with partners. Quarterly, you'll sit with Sales to identify target accounts, design lightweight event formats that AEs can request for key accounts, and report on attendance, meetings held, pipeline influenced, and feedback from attendees and account owners. You'll build the event series playbook from the ground up so others can eventually run it. Linear is a remote-first company with optional co-working offices in San Francisco, New York, and London. The company was founded in 2019 and serves over 40,000 companies including OpenAI, Coinbase, and Ramp. The team is distributed across North America, Europe, and Australia.
