Campfire is hiring a Field Marketing Manager to own the NYC market and drive pipeline through experiential marketing. This is an owner's role with full autonomy over strategy, budget, execution, and reporting across tradeshows, community programs, hackathons, executive dinners, and hospitality experiences. You will decide which shows to attend, which communities to invest in, and how to allocate budget. You'll work closely with Sales to build account-by-account invite lists and measure success by pipeline created and accelerated. Key responsibilities include: selecting and tiering tradeshows against target accounts and designing booth experiences; building sustained presence in NYC practitioner communities with recurring formats and customer advocates; partnering with Product and Engineering on hackathons to earn technical credibility; curating small, high-signal executive dinners tied to named deals; designing sports, culture, and dining experiences with clear compliance guardrails; building and negotiating budgets across vendors, venues, sponsorships, and agencies; reporting honestly on ROI; and creating repeatable playbooks and templates for scaling to future markets. You should have 4–7 years in field marketing, events, or experiential marketing in B2B sales-led environments. You've run events independently end-to-end with minimal oversight, across multiple event types. You're skilled at Sales partnership, can build invite lists account by account, and push back on low-leverage asks. You're data-fluent, comfortable discussing cost per meeting, and have strong negotiation skills with vendors and agencies. You have excellent presence in front of rooms, including senior internal audiences. Nice-to-haves: experience with technical or developer audiences, existing NYC venue/agency/community relationships, experience in finance and accounting marketing, or mentoring junior marketers.
