Mintlify is a documentation platform serving 100+ million developers annually and powering docs for 20,000+ companies including Anthropic, Microsoft, PayPal, Spotify, and Coinbase. The company recently raised $45M Series B led by A16Z and Salesforce Ventures and is at 65 employees. As Field Marketer, you will own the full event marketing lifecycle for the company. Key responsibilities include executing approximately 4 major initiatives monthly: hosting 1 Mintlify-branded dinner, running 1 developer meetup, producing 1 webinar, and sponsoring 1 conference within the ideal customer profile. Each event will have defined pipeline targets, pre-event outreach campaigns, and structured post-event follow-up, with success measured by 20% event-sourced pipeline contribution. You'll coordinate across sales, partnerships, product marketing, and external vendors to create clear event briefs, assign responsibilities, and manage complex multi-stakeholder projects. The role balances operational excellence—handling logistics and onsite execution—with strategic thinking about which events drive the most pipeline impact next quarter. Required experience includes 3–5 years in field or event marketing at B2B SaaS startups focused on technical buyers. You must be data-driven, using pipeline data, lead quality analysis, and cost-per-lead metrics to inform event selection and push back on underperforming initiatives. You'll need hands-on proficiency with CRM and marketing automation platforms to set up campaigns, build emails, track leads, and create attribution reports independently. Bonus qualifications include experience at Seed through Series B startups (especially devtools), familiarity with webinar platforms and virtual event production, and knowledge of account-based marketing (ABM) event strategies. You should remain calm under pressure and troubleshoot quickly when issues arise.
