CarOnSale is an AI-powered B2B platform for used-car trading across Europe, connecting over 40,000 buyers from 20+ countries with exclusive inventory. The company operates as an operating system for the automotive wholesale industry, integrating software, pricing intelligence, logistics, and financing. You will own the full event lifecycle—from strategy and concept through execution and ROI analysis. You will decide which conferences, trade shows, and proprietary dealer events CarOnSale attends, and you will manage all aspects: venue selection, guest lists, agenda, content, and post-event follow-up. You will build and maintain the company's media presence by cultivating PR relationships, pitching stories, and nurturing journalist contacts. You will independently manage the content pipeline, selecting topics and formats aligned with business goals. You will coordinate closely with Sales and CRM teams to ensure events drive pipeline and revenue, and you will report directly to the Principal of Marketing. Key responsibilities include planning and executing dealer events end-to-end; owning the event portfolio and deciding on conference/trade show participation; managing stage content (talks, case studies, materials); building PR relationships and media coverage; steering the content calendar independently; aligning guest lists with Sales to convert contacts into deals; measuring event impact with CRM, New Media, and Sales teams. You will work hybrid: 3 days in the Berlin office, 2 days remote, plus 10 days "work from anywhere" annually. Travel within the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) is expected. Requirements: - Proven experience executing B2B events independently, from conception through delivery - Close collaboration with sales teams and ability to contribute strategic ideas - Strong writing and moderation skills—not just logistics - Ability to manage multiple simultaneous tasks on event day - Active use of AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot) in daily work - German language at C2 level; English at C1 level Preferred qualifications: - Background in automotive, mobility, or B2B platforms - Budget responsibility for an event series or region - Existing PR network or documented media contacts - Understanding of CRM-driven post-event workflows
