Kiddom is transforming K–12 education by building Learning Intelligence Technology (LIT)—a unified platform combining high-quality curriculum, instructional tools, and student analytics. The platform helps educators reduce administrative burden and focus on delivering meaningful, equitable, and adaptive learning experiences.
As a Field Account Executive, you'll own the full sales cycle for Kiddom's Southern California territory, building strategic partnerships with K–12 district leaders. This is a relationship-driven, field-focused role ideal for someone who thrives in complex B2B education sales and wants to make a tangible impact on student outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Proactively develop new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, networking, industry events, and in-person engagement to build a qualified pipeline of district opportunities.
- Lead discovery conversations with district stakeholders to understand instructional priorities, challenges, purchasing needs, and long-term goals.
- Deliver engaging virtual and in-person presentations and product demonstrations connecting Kiddom's solutions to specific district needs.
- Own the entire sales process from initial outreach through negotiation and close, ensuring a positive customer experience.
- Develop and execute a strategic territory plan across Southern California, focusing on driving district adoption of core instructional materials in Math, Science, and ELA.
- Travel throughout the territory approximately 2–3 times per week to meet with prospects, customers, and key stakeholders.
You bring 8+ years of proven sales success, ideally within K–12 education and curriculum. You have a track record of owning and delivering against annual sales targets up to $2M, consistently meeting or exceeding revenue goals. You're proficient with CRM and sales engagement platforms (Salesforce, Salesloft) and possess strong written, verbal, and presentation skills. You understand the K–12 education landscape, district decision-making processes, and can uncover customer priorities to build trusted, long-term partnerships. You're willing to travel up to 30% throughout California for customer meetings, district visits, and conferences.
