Kaizen Labs is a government technology company founded in 2022 that partners with federal, state, and local agencies to modernize legacy systems with AI-native software. The company has already secured $10M in IDIQ contracts with the VA and ~$15M in BPA agreements with the Department of Commerce, with active conversations underway across SSA, OPM, USDA, CMS, State, SBA, HUD, FBI, and Rural Development. The platform currently reaches 55 million Americans across 50+ agencies. As Federal Growth Lead, you will own the complete civilian federal sales cycle end-to-end, from prospecting through demos, proposals, negotiation, and close. You'll build and execute Kaizen's FedCiv go-to-market strategy, expanding existing wins into new agencies while navigating complex procurement pathways including GSA MAS, IDIQs, BPAs, and agency-specific task orders. You'll develop direct relationships with program offices, IT stakeholders, and contracting officers across civilian agencies, lead discovery sessions and product demos independently, and partner with internal teams on solicitation responses and positioning. You bring 10+ years of sales or growth experience with significant time selling into U.S. federal civilian agencies. You have a proven full-cycle enterprise sales track record closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals and working large deals (not just high volume). You're fluent in civilian federal procurement vehicles and buying cycles, comfortable demoing software independently without sales engineer support, and proficient with Salesforce, Outreach, Gong, LinkedIn, and ZoomInfo. Ideal candidates may have existing relationships within target agencies, experience selling benefits or case management modernization, or background navigating GWACs and large multi-award IDIQs. This role is based in Washington, D.C., with a hybrid arrangement. The company offers comprehensive benefits including 100% health/dental/vision coverage, 16 weeks paid parental leave, unlimited PTO (2-week minimum), $750 home office stipend, fully covered gym membership, and professional development support.
