As a Federal Account Executive for the SLED (State, Local, Education) West region, you will report to the Regional Sales Director and focus on building relationships with government and education sector customers. Your primary responsibility is to develop and close business opportunities while consistently meeting or exceeding quarterly sales quotas.
Key responsibilities include:
- Demonstrating deep understanding of Wiz's cloud security solutions and their specific value to state, local, and education organizations
- Positioning Wiz's platform and providing strategic business insights to C-level executives, particularly CISOs
- Building and nurturing long-term executive relationships with customers
- Developing new business opportunities and closing deals in alignment with Wiz values
- Collaborating with a team focused on understanding customer business needs and delivering secure cloud infrastructure solutions
You will work in a customer-centric environment that emphasizes listening, learning, and education. The role requires the ability to articulate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders and translate customer needs into solution recommendations. Success in this position depends on consultative selling skills, industry knowledge of government/education sector challenges, and the ability to navigate complex procurement processes typical of public sector organizations.
