Fanatics Markets is a real-money prediction and trading platform that allows users to trade on outcomes across sports, entertainment, and real-world events. As a Markets Relationship Executive, you will be responsible for acquiring, onboarding, and growing high-priority customers on the platform.
You will serve as both the first point of contact and long-term relationship owner for a portfolio of valuable users. This is a high-ownership, customer-facing role that blends outbound acquisition, white-glove onboarding, and ongoing relationship management. You are the human face of Fanatics Markets for your customer base.
Key responsibilities include:
Customer Acquisition & Growth: Proactively source and acquire high-priority customers through direct outreach, referrals, and targeted campaigns. You will engage in high-volume outbound communication via text, phone, and messaging platforms daily. You must be comfortable with persistent, high-frequency outreach and will be evaluated on results, not activity.
Onboarding & Customer Advocacy: Personally onboard new customers, ensuring they understand the platform and how to derive value from it. Educate customers on market mechanics, event opportunities, and platform features. Act as a dedicated resource for your customer portfolio, maintaining frequent, personalized communication and liaising with operations teams across payments, customer support, and other functions.
Engagement & Retention: Drive ongoing engagement by reaching out at strategic moments—before, during, and after major events. Reactivate dormant customers and deepen relationships with highest-priority users. Anticipate customer needs and proactively solve problems to deliver a premium experience.
Representation & Feedback: Represent Fanatics Markets professionally in customer conversations, events, and industry interactions. Serve as a feedback loop between customers and internal teams, sharing insights on product gaps, friction points, and opportunities.
This is not a desk-only role. Success requires hustle, persistence, exceptional communication skills, and a willingness to proactively engage customers. You will need 4+ years of experience in sales, customer acquisition, hospitality, relationship management, or customer success roles with direct performance accountability. Proven ability to build relationships quickly and influence customer behavior is essential.
