Catawiki is a curated marketplace for special objects, auctioning over 100,000 unique items weekly across 80+ categories. As a Stamps Expert for the Benelux market, you will serve as a category curator, responsible for maintaining the quality and appeal of stamp auctions in the Netherlands and Belgium.
Your core responsibilities include evaluating stamp lots submitted by users to ensure they meet quality standards, creating compelling weekly lot selections leveraging your market expertise and professional network, and reviewing titles, descriptions, and images to assess quality and provide accurate estimated values. You will maintain transparent and fair transactions by applying expert judgment to every submission, communicate rejections professionally to preserve seller relationships, and collaborate cross-functionally with Sales to attract new sellers and diversify lot offerings, and with Marketing to increase bidder engagement.
You bring strong passion and proven expertise in stamps, with solid knowledge of the Dutch or Belgian stamps market (knowledge of both is a plus). You have excellent commercial skills with experience in negotiation and relationship building. You work autonomously and make sound decisions in fast-paced environments, with strong communication and interpersonal abilities. You are comfortable with digital tools, fluent in English (written and spoken), and ideally have business experience in Sales, Marketing, Project Management, or as a Stamps Dealer.
This is a fully remote role based in the Netherlands or Belgium. Catawiki operates a flat structure where every role has broad scope and direct impact.
