As an Automobilia Expert specializing in car parts, you will be responsible for curating high-quality lots that attract serious collectors and drive successful auctions. Your primary responsibilities include evaluating and authenticating Automobilia submissions with a focus on car parts, ensuring all items meet Catawiki's quality and transparency standards. You'll provide reliable estimated values and professional guidance to sellers, helping them understand market dynamics and optimize their auction strategy. You will review submissions and images to maintain category standards, optimize auction performance through reserve pricing and strategic decisions, and build relationships with sellers, buyers, and industry contacts to grow the Automobilia category. Collaboration with internal stakeholders will be essential to align on commercial goals and monitor category performance metrics. This role requires deep expert knowledge of Automobilia, particularly car parts, authentication, and collector value.
