As Experiential Events Manager at Pogo, you'll own the full lifecycle of conferences, dinners, and in-person events as core growth channels. You'll manage high-volume event programs year-round, handling end-to-end logistics including venue selection, vendor management, travel coordination, staffing, and post-event analysis. You'll build and maintain relationships with event organizers, venues, and partners to secure premium placements and partnerships.
Key responsibilities include evaluating ROI for every event to determine which programs merit continuation and what to optimize; designing creative, memorable activations that differentiate Pogo to a niche audience of insights and research leaders; and traveling up to 2x monthly to ensure priority events execute flawlessly. You'll partner closely with sales and marketing teams to ensure events convert into pipeline and customer relationships, and run guerrilla marketing experiments to break through at high-impact events.
You'll bring 3–7 years of experience in conference servicing, field marketing, experiential programs, or events at a tech company or creative agency. You have strong operations and project management skills to juggle multiple complex events simultaneously without dropping details. You build relationships easily, especially with event hosts, to unlock premium opportunities. You have great taste and creative instinct—you care how things look and feel, and you invent activations rather than just executing them. You evaluate spend honestly and make tough calls to cut underperforming programs. You operate autonomously, don't need direction on which conferences to pursue, and actively use AI tools in your workflows.
This is an in-the-trenches role with real ownership over Pogo's GTM strategy. You'll help define the playbook early as one of the first marketing team members, shaping vendor relationships, event standards, and operating rhythms as the company scales. The role is operationally intense—you own every detail from vendor issues to logistics to last-minute changes. You'll work in a fast-moving environment with minimal structure, valuing autonomy and speed. The company offers unlimited PTO with a minimum 20-day vacation policy and flexible scheduling.
