Outpost is building space infrastructure focused on reliable return lanes from orbit to Earth, serving commercial space manufacturing, civil space research, and national security logistics. The company is entering a consequential growth phase with strong technology, customer traction, and a comprehensive brand refresh launching. As Executive Vice President of Marketing, you will report to the President and lead the transformation of Outpost's market presence across commercial, civil, national security, investor, partner, media, and talent audiences. This is a leadership role that converts strategic momentum into a sophisticated, repeatable market-engagement engine. Key responsibilities include: - Develop and execute company-wide marketing strategy across all three market segments, translating it into annual/quarterly operating plans, budgets, resource allocation, and metrics. - Steward the refreshed brand, positioning, messaging, and visual standards, driving consistent adoption and deliberate evolution across the organization. - Build relationship-marketing strategies mapping priority customers, partners, and stakeholders across complex multi-year business development cycles. - Lead customer and product marketing, equipping business development and executive teams with tailored narratives, collateral, case studies, and account-specific support. - Own integrated communications spanning announcements, media engagement, executive communications, thought leadership, and content strategy. - Define and lead the annual event cycle across industry conferences, customer engagements, demonstrations, and product launches. - Translate complex technical products and mission concepts into clear narratives for diverse audiences. - Build the marketing operating system including roadmaps, calendars, decision rights, workflows, and accountability structures. - Build, organize, and lead a high-performing marketing team with clear roles, delegation, mentorship, and vendor/budget management. - Serve as proactive executive partner on positioning, strategic relationships, business development, fundraising, and reputation management. Required qualifications: 12+ years progressive marketing experience, including 5+ years leading multidisciplinary marketing/communications at VP or executive level. Proven track record building or scaling marketing in high-growth aerospace, space infrastructure, robotics, advanced manufacturing, or deep-technology companies. Demonstrated ability as both strategic leader and hands-on operator. Deep capability across brand stewardship, positioning, product/customer marketing, relationship marketing, and corporate communications.
