You will join the Head of Executive Recruiting to own end-to-end executive search for Director-level and above roles across all functions globally. This is a newly created role building the company's leadership hiring process from the ground up, not inheriting an existing playbook.
Key responsibilities include: running rigorous executive search processes across Legora's functions; partnering with external search firms on senior hires to maintain consistent talent standards; developing scorecards, assessment frameworks, and candidate experience protocols for senior hiring at scale; building relationships across the investor talent community to surface senior talent; developing a strong external network across functions and geographies to identify leaders before roles open; raising hiring standards across the broader talent acquisition team; and partnering with reward, legal, and people operations to ensure offer processes move with appropriate speed and discretion.
You bring a track record of in-house executive recruiting at a high-growth, VC-backed tech company, with hands-on experience hiring at Director level and understanding how that process differs from broader recruitment. You can hold credible conversations with senior leaders about function-building and strong leadership. You either have existing relationships in the investor talent community or a proven track record of building them quickly. You know how to brief and manage external search firms effectively. Trust is your currency—you establish credibility quickly, handle confidential information properly, and communicate honestly with candidates.
The role is based in Legora's Union Square office in New York, with global collaboration across Europe, APAC, and North America.
