As an Execution Trader, you will facilitate white-glove OTC block and algorithmic trades for institutional clients, serving as a key point of contact for some of the world's largest financial institutions. Your responsibilities include scouting liquidity from dark pools, ensuring best execution, managing accurate trade capture and settlement, and contributing to post-trade analysis and risk management. You will work cross-functionally with the markets team to understand the OTC business comprehensively and identify strategic initiatives to expand profitability.
You will diagnose execution issues, escalate root causes to maintain excellence, and propose process improvements and automation solutions. The role offers exposure to emerging business opportunities in Asia and the chance to shape company culture at a critical growth stage. You'll develop deep expertise in crypto industry trends and market movements while gaining end-to-end understanding of institutional digital asset trading.
The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or Business with 1-3 years of experience in trading, desk support, financial services, or brokerage. You should have strong numerical skills, spreadsheet proficiency, and high attention to detail. The role requires weekend coverage and willingness to work US hours and/or early APAC hours. Interest in fintech, blockchain, and digital assets is essential, along with the ability to perform under pressure.
