Rerun is building the data infrastructure layer for physical AI—the multimodal sensor streams that power robots, drones, and autonomous vehicles. The company has grown its open-source SDK into a default tool for robotics teams to visualize, log, and query sensor data. Rerun is now commercializing this foundation with Rerun Hub, a data catalog and storage engine, following the playbook of companies like Confluent and MongoDB. This Events Marketing Manager role is about building the heartbeat of the physical AI community. You'll design and execute a field marketing and developer evangelism program that brings together the scattered robotics engineers, ML researchers, and builders who are actually building this space. Rather than inheriting an existing program, you'll design it from scratch. Key responsibilities include mapping the physical AI landscape to identify where the community actually congregates (specific cities, labs, companies, Discord communities); designing and running developer events ranging from small meetups and hack nights to conference presence; building recurring programs and series that provide genuine content and social touchpoints; partnering with engineering and the founding team on technical content that makes events worth attending; and representing Rerun at conferences, meetups, and with key open-source contributors. You'll coordinate closely with the founding team in Stockholm initially, then partner with Rerun's VP of Marketing once that role is filled. The position requires 3–7 years of field or community marketing experience with depth in event planning (physical and virtual), ideally at a B2B tech startup. You should have personally organized meetups, hackathons, workshops, or conferences—not just supported others—and built recurring programs rather than one-off events. Experience with developer or open-source communities, strong hospitality instincts, and genuine curiosity about robotics and physical AI are valued. Travel up to 40% is expected. Rerun is a remote-first company headquartered in Stockholm with a growing San Francisco hub. This role is hybrid, requiring three days per week in the SF office. The company meets in person roughly quarterly, spans European and US time zones with flexible daily overlap windows, and offers competitive cash and equity, six weeks paid vacation, and necessary hardware/software.
