Factory is seeking an Events Lead to build and establish the company's events function from the ground up. This is a strategic and hands-on role where you will define Factory's comprehensive events strategy, build and lead a growing team, and own the full portfolio of programs including flagship user conferences, Sales Kickoff, President's Club, and participation in Tier-1 industry conferences like AWS re:Invent, alongside field marketing initiatives. Key responsibilities include owning the overall events strategy and portfolio to ensure every program strengthens Factory's brand and drives measurable business outcomes. You will build, hire, lead, and develop the events team as Factory scales. You'll own and allocate the global events budget across the portfolio, including forecasting, prioritization, reconciliation, and ROI analysis. You will set the annual events calendar and planning process, define the events operating model with standards and playbooks, and establish production quality bars and measurement frameworks across the organization. You will manage portfolio-level agency and vendor relationships, including master service agreements, and provide executive oversight of flagship programs to ensure exceptional quality and impact. Cross-functional partnership is essential—you'll work closely with Marketing, Brand, Sales Enablement, People, Finance, Legal, and Executive Leadership to align events with pipeline, revenue, and company priorities. Required qualifications include proven experience building and leading an events function at a high-growth company, with a track record of hiring, managing, and developing high-performing teams. You should have demonstrated success owning a portfolio of flagship programs and managing multiple concurrent programs and stakeholders. Experience managing large, multimillion-dollar events budgets with allocation, forecasting, and ROI measurement is essential. You'll need strong leadership and cross-functional influence skills, comfort with event and marketing tools (Salesforce, event management platforms, registration tools), and willingness to travel extensively for onsite production and execution of flagship events.
