The Business of Fashion (BoF) is seeking an Events Community Manager to join its Events team, reporting to the Deputy Head of Events. This role is central to stewarding and growing BoF's global network of fashion, beauty, and luxury industry leaders. BoF is a globally recognized media and intelligence platform serving members in over 125 countries. The company combines agenda-setting journalism with business intelligence, online learning, career tools, and immersive events. With teams across London, New York, Paris, and Milan, BoF is the fashion industry's leading source of business intelligence and one of its most influential voices. Key Responsibilities: Community Strategy & Database Ownership: Own and manage BoF's global community event database as a core business asset, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and strategic value. Establish best-in-class data governance and database hygiene processes. Proactively track executive appointments, promotions, organizational changes, and emerging industry leaders across fashion, beauty, and luxury sectors. Develop and maintain audience segmentation frameworks across geographies, sectors, functions, seniority levels, and strategic priorities. Produce community insights and reporting to support event planning and broader business objectives. Event Audience Strategy & Execution: Partner closely with the Events team to deliver BoF's portfolio of flagship and custom events. Lead guest list development, audience curation, and invitation strategy. Support and lead seating plan development for events, applying strategic, relationship-driven thinking to determine optimal guest pairings. Build and maintain accurate seating plans within BoF's events tools. Produce clear, accurate documentation and materials. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, editorially curious, and relationship-driven. Success requires exceptional attention to detail and deep interest in the people and companies shaping the global fashion and beauty industry. The role works closely with Events, Brand Partnerships, and Marketing teams to ensure BoF convenes the right people at the right moments.
