Factory is seeking an experienced Events Manager to own the strategy, creative development, production, and execution of the company's highest-profile and most complex event experiences. This role serves as executive producer for a focused portfolio of large-scale programs representing significant investments in Factory's brand, employees, customers, and market presence—including Sales Kickoff, President's Club, major industry conferences such as AWS re:Invent, and high-impact experiential activations.
You will translate company and business objectives into distinctive event strategies and attendee experiences that strengthen Factory's brand and support measurable business outcomes. Responsibilities include establishing creative vision, production approach, operating plans, budgets, and timelines for flagship programs. You'll own multimillion-dollar event budgets, providing forecasting, reconciliation, scenario planning, and recommendations for maximizing investment.
Key responsibilities:
- Own end-to-end strategy and production for Sales Kickoff, President's Club, Tier-1 conferences, and major sponsored experiences
- Serve as executive producer from concept through post-event measurement
- Lead large-scale presence at major industry moments, including booth experiences, sponsorships, customer programming, and hospitality
- Source, negotiate with, and lead external agencies, production companies, venues, DMCs, and technical production teams
- Lead complex cross-functional workstreams involving Marketing, Brand, Sales, Product, Communications, People, Finance, Legal, and Executive Leadership
- Establish detailed production plans, critical paths, RACI structures, and contingency plans
- Lead onsite production and serve as senior decision-maker for flagship event execution
- Develop premium attendee experiences for employees, customers, executives, partners, and VIP audiences
- Identify opportunities to extend Factory's presence through sponsored events and strategic partnerships
- Conduct post-event analysis and translate insights into recommendations for future programs
Required qualifications include experience owning end-to-end strategy and production for large-scale, high-complexity events such as sales kickoffs, user conferences, or Tier-1 industry conferences. Experience at a high-growth startup or hyper-growth technology company is strongly preferred. You should have a proven track record managing multimillion-dollar event budgets, sourcing and negotiating with external vendors, and leading complex cross-functional programs. Strong project management skills, comfort with event and marketing tools (Salesforce, event management platforms), and willingness to travel for onsite production are essential.
