You'll join the Events Team as Event Marketing Manager, reporting to the Senior Manager of Event Marketing. This role owns the full lifecycle of Altruist's online and in-person events—from strategy and planning through execution and measurement. You'll deliver experiences that strengthen brand presence, engage financial advisors, support product and sales initiatives, and drive measurable business results.
Key responsibilities include:
**Event Strategy, Operations & Execution:** Lead planning and execution of online event series (programming, speaker coordination, promotion, production, reporting). Manage the industry event roadmap including sponsorship strategy, vendor coordination, and on-site execution. Own event timelines, budgets, and production details to ensure smooth delivery on time and within budget. Identify opportunities to improve processes and attendee experiences.
**Marketing & Promotion:** Partner with the broader Marketing team to develop event promotion across email, social, and other channels. Manage attendee communications and engagement strategies to drive registration and participation. Ensure event messaging aligns with Altruist's brand, product priorities, and marketing strategy.
**Cross-Functional Collaboration:** Work closely with stakeholders across Marketing, Product, Sales, and Content to ensure events support strategic priorities. Partner with Product and Sales to understand audiences, product initiatives, and opportunities to support pipeline and revenue objectives. Coordinate with executives, speakers, subject matter experts, agency partners, and vendors.
**Reporting & Optimization:** Track and analyze key event metrics (registrations, attendance, engagement, lead outcomes, pipeline influence, feedback). Develop post-event reports summarizing performance, learnings, and recommendations. Use data and feedback to continually improve event strategy and execution.
This is a hybrid role requiring three days per week in the San Francisco or Culver City office. The ideal candidate is an experienced event marketer comfortable with both detailed execution and strategic contribution, who understands events as powerful relationship-building and business-growth tools.
