Jobber is seeking an Event Manager to join the Marketing team and own the planning and execution of large-scale, high-visibility events that connect the brand with customers, partners, and community. Jobber provides software solutions for small home service businesses (plumbers, painters, landscapers) to manage quoting, scheduling, invoicing, and payments. In this role, you will serve as the strategic driver and operator for flagship events, including Jobber Summit (annual virtual conference) and Jobber Now (annual product launch and user conference). You'll develop detailed workback plans, timelines, and budgets while overseeing end-to-end logistics and production. Responsibilities include vendor management, venue selection, AV/tech platform coordination, customer support readiness, and on-site experience delivery. You'll translate business goals into measurable event outcomes—such as net new lead acquisition and net revenue expansion—and ensure events contribute meaningfully to company objectives. This includes measuring and reporting on attendance, engagement, and post-event performance metrics, partnering with Analytics and Marketing teams to assess impact and optimize future programming. Key responsibilities also involve proactive stakeholder communication with senior leadership on progress, risks, and results throughout the planning and execution lifecycle. You'll support event promotion efforts with potential to grow into ownership of registration and attendance campaigns. Travel within Canada and the United States is required for flagship events, site visits, trade shows, and keynote filming. You should have experience planning and executing high-visibility company-led events with significant budgets (six to seven figures) and large attendance (thousands of attendees). Strong collaboration skills with Product and Product Marketing teams, data-informed decision-making, exceptional communication and organizational abilities, and comfort in fast-paced environments are essential. Experience with SaaS, high-growth tech companies, event technology platforms, CRM integrations, and marketing automation tools is valued but not required.
