ElevenLabs is a $11B-valued AI research and product company founded in January 2023, now serving millions of users and thousands of enterprises including Deutsche Telekom and Meta. The company has raised $781M from top-tier investors including Andreessen Horowitz, ICONIQ Growth, and Sequoia. ElevenLabs operates three main platforms: ElevenAgents (voice and chat agents for customer experience), ElevenCreative (speech, music, image, and video generation across 70+ languages), and ElevenAPI (AI audio foundational models for developers). As Europe Communications Lead, you will build and protect ElevenLabs' reputation across the European continent as the company expands regionally. You'll own the European communications strategy, design and execute creative, high-engagement campaigns across media, social, and events, and shape the regional narrative by developing positioning, turning global news into local stories, and creating original European moments. Key responsibilities include: defining and owning European comms strategy; designing campaigns across media, social, and events; developing regional positioning and narrative; identifying and mitigating reputational risks early; building relationships with journalists, influencers, customers, industry bodies, and event organizers; supporting executives with media interviews and speaking opportunities; partnering across sales, marketing, policy, legal, and deployment teams; and defining the operating model for comms in Europe, including managing agencies in specific markets. You'll report into a high-velocity, impact-driven organization that prioritizes talent over location and uses AI to move faster across all functions. The company culture emphasizes rapid experimentation, lean autonomous teams, minimal bureaucracy, and excellence in everything. You'll have opportunities for professional development through annual learning stipends, annual company offsites in new locations, and co-working stipends if not near a main hub. Required experience: managing communications across multiple European markets; strong relationships with journalists at top-tier publications and a track record of pitching stories and handling difficult corporate issues; firm grasp of Europe's political, regulatory, economic, and cultural landscape; ability to design unusually creative comms campaigns including non-traditional tactics; excellent written and verbal communication; and ability to thrive in fast-moving environments with nascent operating models.
