Boston Scientific is hiring an Electrophysiology (EP) Mapping Specialist I to join its Cardiology team in Cleveland, OH. This is a field-based, regional role supporting the launch of innovative electrophysiology products for treating atrial fibrillation and other cardiac arrhythmias.
In the first year, you will complete comprehensive training on Boston Scientific's EP technology portfolio, including the Rhythmia Mapping System, radiofrequency ablation catheters, diagnostic catheters, and intracardiac access sheaths. You'll develop deep clinical and technical expertise while receiving professional development to prepare for hands-on field responsibilities.
Once trained, your primary responsibilities include:
- Serve as the clinical support resource for case coverage, troubleshooting, and system development of the Rhythmia Mapping System
- Educate physicians, EP lab staff, and internal sales teams on proper clinical usage and safety through presentations, demonstrations, and training sessions
- Attend cases in hospital labs to provide real-time support and gather feedback for product development
- Travel regionally (by car or plane) to meet with existing and potential clients—physicians, hospital groups, and key decision makers—to understand clinical needs and demonstrate how Boston Scientific products address them
- Develop and maintain relationships with hospital personnel across departments to identify opportunities and facilitate future sales
- Respond to customer issues by developing creative solutions in collaboration with sales, clinical research, marketing, and technical support teams
- Maintain advanced clinical knowledge of cardiac ablation, EP technology advancements, and the competitive landscape
