Salary: EUR 45,712.5 - 69,525 / annual

Adyen is a global financial technology platform providing payments, data, and financial products for enterprise customers including Meta, Uber, H&M, and Microsoft. The company is seeking an Enterprise Business Development Representative to drive growth in a new business segment. In this role, you will partner with senior sales leaders, marketers, channel partner managers, and cross-functional stakeholders to execute a strategic go-to-market function. Your responsibilities include: • Strategically targeting high-potential accounts using signal-driven insights and commercial strategy • Designing and supporting campaigns aligned to buyer needs, market trends, and strategic priorities in partnership with Sales, Marketing, and Partnerships teams • Executing multi-channel, creative prospecting with highly tailored messaging that addresses merchant challenges and business priorities • Collaborating with the commercial engine to shape strategic account plans and refine outreach based on feedback and learnings • Leveraging AI-enabled tools and workflows to optimize prospecting and uncover early-stage opportunities • Identifying new business opportunities at industry events through targeted in-person prospect engagement You will operate at the intersection of strategy, execution, and enablement—functioning as both a builder and connector who helps shape Adyen's go-to-market approach. Required qualifications include curiosity about customers, products, and industry signals; adaptability in tone and messaging; resilience in long-cycle enterprise sales; ownership mentality; sound judgment on engagement timing and pipeline prioritization; enterprise sales acumen; strong communication and collaboration skills with senior-level stakeholders; technical aptitude and comfort with AI tools; strategic thinking aligned to long-term commercial goals; and fluency in both Italian and English (written and verbal). Nice-to-have qualifications include prior B2B sales, consulting, or go-to-market experience; familiarity with CRM tools and sales engagement platforms; and fintech or payments industry experience or interest.
