As an Enterprise Solutions Engineer based in London, you will support Postman's rapidly growing enterprise customer base across the UK and Ireland region. You will be a trusted technical advisor throughout the sales cycle, partnering closely with Sales, Product, and Customer Success teams to help enterprise customers understand how Postman's platform can streamline their API lifecycle, improve collaboration, and drive innovation.
Key responsibilities include:
Account Strategy: Lead technical discovery sessions to uncover customer challenges and pain points. Build strong relationships with technical leaders and decision-makers, providing guidance on best practices for leveraging Postman across the entire API lifecycle. Collaborate with customers to set success criteria, design tailored proofs of concept, and deliver engaging demos, workshops, and hands-on sessions. Work closely with internal teams to ensure alignment and drive customer outcomes.
Customer and Industry Insights: Maintain deep understanding of Postman's capabilities, the API ecosystem, and industry trends including AI in API design, DevOps, and API security. Collect and share customer insights with Product and Engineering teams to influence roadmap decisions.
Marketing and Evangelism: Represent Postman at industry events, conferences, and webinars. Create and share technical content including blogs, demos, and tutorials that highlight real-world use cases and best practices.
Required qualifications: 2+ years in technical consulting, pre-sales engineering, or related roles; 5+ years in software engineering; expertise in REST/GraphQL APIs, API lifecycle management tools (Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI, Kong, Apigee), CI/CD and automation, or cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP); excellent English communication skills and comfort with customer-facing presentations; ability to travel up to 25% across EMEA with occasional global travel.
