Salary: USD 185,000 - 250,000 / annual
Lumos is an Autonomous Identity Platform that helps enterprises manage access risk and identity governance at scale. As an Enterprise Pre-sales Solutions Engineer, you will be the technical champion throughout the sales process for Lumos's largest, most strategic customers.
You will serve as a trusted advisor and product expert, owning all technical responsibilities in the sales journey. Your core responsibilities include architecting and delivering compelling product demonstrations and proof-of-concepts (POCs) for complex enterprise customers, translating technical requirements into business outcomes. You'll structure POCs with clear success criteria and take full ownership of the process to ensure successful implementation from the start.
You'll work cross-functionally with GTM and technical teams to drive investments that scale the go-to-market motion, improve revenue, accelerate implementation, and support the growing customer base. This includes owning Solutions Engineering initiatives such as enhancing the demo environment, making onboarding more self-service, and enabling the partner channel.
As a subject matter expert on identity and cybersecurity, you'll report internally on market trends, competitive landscape, customer success stories, and common field challenges.
You bring 5+ years of pre-sales experience in B2B SaaS, with demonstrated success navigating complex enterprise deal cycles. Experience in identity or cybersecurity is preferred. You're fluent in RESTful APIs and tools like Postman, comfortable reading Python, and proficient with AI tools (Copilot, Cursor, etc.). You have strong customer-centric instincts, thrive in high-growth startup environments, and ideally have prior startup experience.
