Notion is seeking an Enterprise Solutions Consultant for its Tokyo office to own the full customer lifecycle for a book of business. In this role, you'll be the single point of accountability for new logo acquisition, expansion, and renewal—responsible for ensuring that credits sold translate into credits consumed.
You'll design and build workflow solutions live with customers, conducting discovery sessions that double as product demonstrations. Rather than relying on slide decks, you'll run discovery conversations, architect current-to-future-state workflows, and co-build solutions directly in Notion alongside customers. You'll partner with Business Development Representatives on target account planning and co-own outbound motions for your accounts, running direct outreach to priority stakeholders.
Navigating the commercial side is core to the role: you'll handle sizing, proposal construction, procurement, legal, and security reviews to close deals with appropriate scope, credits, and implementation paths. You'll guide customers through early implementation with clear adoption plans, then hand off to Outcomes Architects for ongoing multi-workflow expansion. Throughout, you'll partner with Outcomes Architects on onboarding, adoption strategies, and renewal execution—owning the commercial arc while they drive day-to-day adoption.
You'll need 8–15+ years selling technical products to technical buyers, with genuine technical fluency and comfort building live in software. Strong discovery and qualification instincts are essential, as is the ability to map customer workflows into commercial outcomes. You must operate with agency and urgency, presenting simple solutions to complex problems. Fluency in both Japanese (native/fluent) and English (business level) is required. Experience with usage-based pricing, mid-market/enterprise productivity software, and shared account ownership models is a plus.
