Garner Health is transforming the U.S. healthcare system by partnering with employers to redesign healthcare delivery. The company applies 550+ proprietary clinical metrics across 80+ specialties to a dataset of 320M+ patients to identify top-performing doctors and steer members to higher-quality care. This has helped 2.5M+ people access better care and saved $1B in healthcare costs in five years. As Enterprise Sales VP for Hospital and Health Systems, you will own direct sales cycles for a named national territory of U.S. health systems with 10,000+ employees. This is an individual contributor role reporting to the VP of Public and Labor, focused on expanding Garner's footprint with large health systems as self-funded employers. Key responsibilities include: managing direct sales cycles and pipeline across your named book of health systems; running the CHRO/CFO/Total Rewards sales conversation, including domestic-steerage narratives and payer-provider fit screening; staying current on market and competitor landscape; and developing strategic relationships with benefits consultants who serve health systems. You'll need 7+ years of deep sales experience in health benefits (medical, ancillary, vendor) through brokers, consultants, and insurers. Strongly preferred: 5+ years selling into hospitals/health systems with understanding of how they buy for employees, HR/benefits margin pressures, domestic-utilization agendas, and system politics. You should have existing relationships with health-system CHROs/Total Rewards leaders and their consultants, plus 3+ years selling large enterprise clients. Additional qualifications: data literacy to turn complex datasets into actionable insights; proven experience developing sales processes (playbooks, KPIs, collateral); and alignment with Garner's mission-driven culture. The role is based remotely with occasional travel to NYC headquarters. Bachelor's degree required.
