As an Enterprise Sales Engineer, you will serve as a trusted technical advisor to prospective customers, leading them through the sales process by connecting their needs to Sardine's value proposition. You will deliver customized product demonstrations, complete RFPs, and win over technical teams through thought leadership and consultative problem-solving.
Key responsibilities include supporting Account Executives in identifying fraud and compliance needs, preparing and delivering tailored demos showcasing platform impact, interfacing with security teams on security posture and reviews, creating comprehensive solution designs, and collaborating with product and engineering teams to identify improvements and prioritize solutions. Your field insights will directly shape the product roadmap and help Sardine stay ahead of market trends.
You will need 7+ years of experience as a Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or similar role supporting enterprise customers, with prior experience in Risk, Fraud, or Compliance domains. Proven success working with large financial institutions, banks, or global enterprises is essential. Technical requirements include experience with API-based products, strong understanding of JSON, ability to read and understand code, and familiarity with Python, JavaScript, Ruby, Go, or Java. Strong analytical skills, ability to thrive in fast-paced remote environments with global clients, and excellent written and verbal communication skills are critical.
